Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I installed my 8720 on a new workstation. I cannot find the printer assistant to download so I downloaded HP smart. While all the functions are working, I can't find any of the scan functions. Does anyone know how to access the functions for darkening text, changing the contrast, midtone, resizing the documents, etc. All of those functions were available in the printer assistant. The scan function is worthless without them. Is the printer assistant available on any of the new hp printers? I've only used HP printers but I cannot work without the scan functions and will need to start researching other brands.  Thanks for any assistance.

Please download and install the Full Feature HP Software for your printer, that includes the HP Printer Assistant software:

Never mind! Mysteriously, a pop-up appeared with an edit button today. That takes the user to the scan functions. It's more cumbersome than the printer assistant but at least some of the functions are there.
