The printer is unaware of the content it prints or scans.

 

Unless the printer is stuck in some sort of sudden odd error condition and cannot manage to print what it receives, Scale -- and font size -- is always controlled with the application / software you are using to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer.

 

If you are using Scan,

Scan content at size and save it to your device.

Open the file in an application or program appropriate for the type of data (example, PDF or Photo / Image).

Print the content at any size (Scale) available to that app or program.
