HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a "HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw". I can not figure out how to do a 2 sided scan of a document through the document feeder. HP smart (my printer app) doesn't let me configure 1 or 2 sided options. How do I fix this? Can my printer even scan 2 sided??

Hi,

For Windows, a such can be done manually with the HP Scan Software, not with HP Smart.

Please follow below utility to get the full feature software for your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

Once installed open HP Scan and select Save as PDF.

Click on More >

From there you may select 2-sided (manual) scanning.

Be aware that you will be guided to reload the other side into the ADF, your printer does not support performing a such automatically.
