Solved, but...
- Reran "Fix Scanning" in HP Print and Scan Doctor a good number of times while it fixed various problems.
- Reran "Fix Scanning" in HP Print and Scan Doctor multiple times and each time it said newer software was available, so each time I installed a different driver from the 4650 drivers and software page until I installed all available drivers,
- I reinstalled HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories (Full_Webpack-40.15.1231_1-OJ4650_Full_Webpack.exe) one last time.
- Boom. Acrobat could find the TWAIN and WIA drivers and I could scan wirelessly, but...
I have lost the ability to print in color.

Victor,
So I do not make the same mistake again, can you tell me what edit was necessary in my post "How do I install a TWAIN or WIA driver for 4650 to scan wirelessly"?
Thanks!
