Hi @danny10000,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Find the IP address of your printer by printing a network configuration page or checking the printer's display.
  • Enter the IP address in a web browser to open the EWS.

Log In as Administrator:

  • You may need to log in as administrator. If prompt, use the administrator credentials.

Navigate to Scan to Email Settings:

  • In the EWS menu, go to the "Scan" or "Scan to Email" section.
  • Find the list of email profiles set up for your printer.

Remove or Edit the Email Profile:

  • Locate the email profile you want to remove or edit.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to either edit or delete the existing profile.

Reset or Retrieve PIN (if necessary):

  • If you have forgotten the PIN, you may need to reset it through the EWS or by using the printer's control panel, if an option is available.
  • Check the printer's support documentation for specific instructions on PIN reset.

Save and Test the Changes:

  • After editing or deleting the email profile, save the changes.
  • Test the functionality to ensure that the email has been removed or the new profile is working correctly.

I hope this helps.

Hi Kuroi, thank you for your suggestion but unfortunately I've tried this procedure without success as I do not get the "Scan to Email" option when selecting the SCAN tab. I have also tried to reset to factory setting but that did not do it either... any other suggestions ???

Hi @danny10000,

Thank you for your response.

Since the previous steps didn't work

Use HP Smart Admin Portal (if printer is enrolled)

Go to: https://admin.hp.com

Sign in with the HP account that was originally used to set up the printer.

Select your printer under Devices.

Navigate to Scan Settings > Email Profiles.

From here, remove or edit the old email address.

I hope this helps.
