How can I scan a document and send it to my computer as a pdf?

Hi! You can definitely scan to PDF with your HP Smart Tank 6001 on macOS Monterey. Just open the HP Smart app on your Mac. If you haven’t installed it yet, you can get it from the Mac App Store. Make sure your printer is turned on and connected.

Once the app is open, click on “Scan.” Place your document on the scanner bed or in the ADF if your printer has one. In the scan settings, select “PDF” as the file type. Then click “Scan,” and when it’s done, you can save the file to your Mac wherever you like.
