Hi @Kenny206,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Scanning from your HP ENVY 6020e printer to your computer involves a few steps. Here's a general guide that should help you with the process.

Ensure Connectivity:

  • Make sure that your HP ENVY 6020e printer is connected to your computer either via a USB cable or through a wireless network.

Install HP Software:

  • Ensure that you have the necessary HP software installed on your computer. If you don't have it installed, you can download the latest drivers and software from the official HP website.

Place Document on Scanner:

  • Lift the scanner lid on your HP ENVY 6020e printer.
  • Place the document or photo that you want to scan face down on the scanner glass. Make sure the edges of the document align with the guidelines or markings on the glass.

Use the Control Panel on the Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, locate the "Scan" or "Scan To" button. The exact wording may vary depending on your printer model.
  • Press the "Scan" button and follow the on-screen prompts to select the type of scan you want (color, black and white, etc.).

Select Destination:

  • After choosing the scan type, you may be prompted to select the destination. Choose "Computer" or "PC" as the destination.

Choose Scan Settings:

  • Depending on your printer model, you might have options to customize scan settings such as resolution, file type, and more. Adjust these settings according to your preferences.

Start the Scan:

  • Once you have configured the settings, press the "Start Scan" or "OK" button on the printer.

Check on Computer:

  • Go to your computer and open the HP scanning software or the scanning interface associated with your operating system.
  • The scanned document should appear on your computer screen.

Save the Scanned Document:

  • Once the scan is complete, you can save the scanned document to your desired location on your computer. Choose the file format and location as needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
