Thank you for your service.  I am using Windows 7, and have installed all of the software.  When I set the HP Scan information as shown on the video, the scanner scans the first side of the document, then asks to save the document before scanning the back side of the pages.  Shouldn't the software indicate that I am to rotate the originals in the tray and continue?  I believe this may be buggy software.  My replaced 7612 worked fine.  Let me know how I should proceed to resolve this issue.

HP Officejet Pro 8710 / 8720 /8730 /8740 : Copy & Scan a 2 sided document using the ADF

The OfficeJet Pro 7740 will be similar to the OfficeJet Pro 8730/8740 where it scans 2 sides in 1 pass.
