Hi,
I am linking you to a document we have on the Product Home page for this printer. It says that it is for Mac OSX v 10.10, but I believe it works in Maverick too.
Scanning multiple pages into one file
Click on the + sign next to scan to a single file
It won't allow you to scan multiple pictures, but will on documents.
See if this helps.

Hi,
I would like to scan multiple pages using my feeder by only the flat bed scanner works. Does the HP6830 scan multiple pages from the feeder? If so, how do I get the computer and printer to recognize a document in the feeder rather than the bed?
Thank you,
BAJJER
