Set Up Scan to Network Folder on HP Smart Tank 7602
1. Ensure Network Connection
Confirm the printer and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS)
On the printer screen, swipe down and tap the Network/Wireless icon.
Note the IP address.
On your computer, open a browser and enter that IP address in the address bar.
3. Log In and Go to Settings
Continue past any browser warning.
Sign in as Administrator if prompted.
Go to Settings → Control Panel Customization.
4. Create a New Quick Set
Select Quick Sets.
Click the + (Add) button.
Choose Scan to Network Folder under the Type menu.
5. Enter Network Folder Information
Give the quick set a Name and Description.
Enter the network folder path (example: \\ComputerName\SharedFolder).
Choose Authentication if required and enter username/password that has access to the folder.
6. Configure Scan & Security Options
Set a Security PIN if needed.
Adjust Scan settings (file type, resolution, color, etc.).
Modify File settings as per your need.
7. Apply and Test
Click Apply and Test.
If successful, click OK.
The quick set will now appear on the printer screen for easy scanning.
