I am using HP Easy Scan.  When I scan a multiple-page document and save it on my computer by using the send arrow button located in the bottom right hand corner of the page, HP Easy Scan (or maybe Apple, my computer and operating system, which is Sierra 10.12.4 Beta) breaks each page into a separate document.  As I can scan multiple pages without using the + button, I don't think that button is my issue. My ppi setting is 300.  I've looked in HP Scan Preferences and can't find an on-point setting.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you for the instructions.   As I double checked each step I had been taking to scan the document, I finally figured out that I had not changed a setting from when I was scanning photos recently and was saving the document as a jpeg rather than as a pdf.  Once I changed the save document setting to pdf, I was once again able to save multiple pages in a single document.  If HP revises these instructions it might consider adding this step.  Thanks again.
