Copy Legal Size Paper

 

Copy is a function of the printer --

IF the printer supports reading and then copying Legal paper "at size", that is, from Legal size to Legal size paper,

then

Those settings will be available to you either at the printer control panel in in the Embedded Web Server (EWS).

 

If the printer does not support Copy "Legal to Legal",

then

You can load the legal size document / paper in the ADF and then Copy that document to supported paper size (Letter).

 

True - Copying Legal to Letter does require that you reduce the size of the content to fit on the smaller paper.

The printer includes the ability to scan Legal sized paper from the ADF and, because this is a large format printer, from the flatbed.

How you scan the content depends on your Operating System / version and the app / software you use to configure the job.

 

After the content is scanned and saved as a document, the file can be opened and printed as you like.

  • Select a tray that supports the paper size and type you want to use.
  • Load the paper and close the tray.
  • Update the Tray and Paper Settings on the printer control panel or using the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • If you like, and the printer supports it, set the legal paper as the default paper size / tray (EWS).
  • Update the print job settings - These depend on your Operating System / version and the app / software you are using to configure the job.
