Hi @Anthony360,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Scanning should feel simple and smooth, like sliding a page under glass and watching it transform into a crisp digital copy. Let’s make that happen for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e.
Ways to Scan a Document
Option 1: Using HP App (Recommended)
- Install the HP app
- Download for Windows: HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.
- Open HP App
- Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- Click “Scan”
- Choose Scanner (not camera).
- Place your document face down on the scanner glass or in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) if available.
- Adjust Settings
- Select Color/Black & White, Resolution, and File Type (PDF/JPEG).
- Click “Scan”
- Preview the scan, crop if needed, then Save or Share.
Option 2: Using Windows Built-in Scan
- Press Windows Key → Type “Scan” → Open Windows Scan App.
- Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e.
- Place the document on the scanner glass.
- Choose File Type and Resolution, then click Scan.
Option 3: From Printer Control Panel
- On the printer screen, tap Scan → Computer.
- Select your computer name.
- Choose the File Type and start scanning.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
