Scanning issues…

Please try this scan solution:
 
HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDF scans with this free scanning software -   https://www.naps2.com/

Hi, I installed the suggested link:

 

"For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi   "

 

but when I go to run it a message says the HP imaging device was not found...   the printer is connected with my computer. I've printed off of it a few minutes ago.

 

I'm trying to set up scanning with the printer. Just bought it yesterday.
