Product: Deskjet Plus 6475
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On my previous HP printer I had the option to scan to e-mail, which created an Outlook e-mail with the scan. The 6475 was set up with the HP Smart app, and sharing from it doesn't allow me to share to Outlook.

 

Is there any way I can get the functionality I had with my previous HP printer?

Hi,

You may follow HP Easy Start to install the HP Basic or HP Full Feature Software option, then use HP Scan to scan to Outlook:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPEasyStart_12_1_5139_03.exe

 

You may also use HP Smart Task to scan to email from within the HP Smart app itself:

https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c06211157
