Hi, I have tried to find the feature which allows me to scan double-sided doc from the  the HP Smart app from my MacBook or directly from the printer.  Yet it doesn't seem to have such feature.  I also tried to find it from the options in the shortcut, but nothing pops up.  I have the latest printer software updated, so it might not be the issue.  BTW, my printer is almost two years old.  Perhaps it doesn't come with this function.  Please share with me what you know.  Thanks.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you would like to scan both sides.

 

Unfortunately, the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw does not support Duplex ADF scanning (Two-sided scanning from the feeder).

 

You may refer to the printer specifications to know the supported features.
