I have recently purchased the HP Office Jet 8015e. Every time I try to scan a document, I always have to reset from glass to feeder and it's quite time consuming to do it for each document. Is there a way to set the printer to remember my settings to always use feeder?

HP Recommended

Go to the printer properties and set the scanning default so the scanner pulls from the paper slot you want. Save the default settings.

 

Below is an example of how to set the default to only do black and white it is just an example how to set defaults

 

Likewise you can force landscape for all prints the same way. After installation you set the properties for what you want.
