Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While trying to scan a new document, I receive an error message saying that the scanner is in use.  How do I stop an open scan application.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums. Can you try the following:

Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem

If that doesn't help, we'd recommend to Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software.
