How to stop the automatic cropping when I scan a document

When I scan documents that have margins or boxes, the app automatically crops the documents around those lines when I don't want them to. How do I keep the original scans without the app automatically cropping it?

To the extent possible for the printer model plus any restrictions in the HP Smart Mobile application,

Document scan size can be adjusted to scan at selected sizes, including "custom".

In so much that I have found, if the automatic scan doesn't "pick" what you want, you have to adjust the setting.
