Hi @Nancy532,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP LaserJet Pro 3301 is showing error message 13.08.13, which is a paper-handling error. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Turn off the printer and remove all paper

Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall.

Remove all paper from the input tray and output tray.

Check for paper jams or obstructions

Open the rear access door and toner access door.

Look carefully for torn paper, small scraps, labels, or foreign objects.

Remove anything found gently to avoid damaging rollers.

Inspect and clean the rollers

Check the paper pickup and feed rollers for dust or residue.

If needed, wipe them lightly with a lint-free cloth.

Worn or dirty rollers can cause paper feed errors like 13.08.13.

Reload paper correctly

Fan the stack of paper before loading.

Make sure the paper guides are snug but not tight.

Use supported paper size and type only.

Verify paper size and type settings

On the printer display or computer print settings, confirm the paper size and type match what’s loaded.

Mismatched settings can trigger feed errors.

Power reset the printer

Plug the printer back in.

Turn it on and wait until it fully initializes before printing.

Test with a different paper source or paper type

Try printing from another tray (if available) or with plain paper.

This helps rule out tray-specific feed issues.

I hope this helps.
