I'm having hp 415 inkjet. When i scan copy printer out mini print not full page print. Before that printer out full page print while scanning but now it's out mini print while scanning.

It sounds like your HP 415 Ink Tank printer is scaling down the output when you’re trying to scan a document. This can happen due to settings in the scanning software or the printer driver.

 

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this.


Check Scanner Settings:

  • Open the HP Smart app or any other scanning software you're using.
  • Look for settings related to "Scan Size" or "Output Size."
  • Make sure it's set to "Full Page" or the actual document size, not a reduced or miniature size.

Verify Printer Settings:

  • Sometimes, if there's an option for “Fit to Page” or “Actual Size” under print settings, choose “Actual Size” to avoid any auto-scaling.

Update or Reinstall the Printer Driver:

  • Go to HP’s website, download the latest drivers for your printer model (HP 415), and install them.
  • Updating the drivers can resolve scaling issues caused by outdated software.

Check Paper and Print Size Settings:

  • When you print the scanned copy, ensure the paper size selected (like A4, Letter, etc.) matches the actual paper loaded in the printer.

Try Scanning from a Different App:

  • Use another app to scan, like Windows’ built-in "Windows Scan" (on Windows PCs) or "Image Capture" (on Mac), to see if the issue persists.
