Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

The ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) holds zero photos.

 

The ADF is not  meant to scan or copy photos --

This limitation includes any content printed on any supported photo paper.

 

What if?

Scanning photo paper ADF will perhaps jam and / or you might even lose a photo inside the ADF mechanism.

 

If, on the other hand, you have plain, full sized (Letter or A4) , supported weight paper on which there happens to be printed images, then the ADF will handle the number of sheets of paper as described in the specifications.
