I am trying to scan recipes to create a book. I want to be able to move the recipes on the page and add comments. How do I can the recipes? the scans I come up with cannot be moved on the page and nothing can be added. PLEASE HELP i have thousands of recipes.

The 8025e does not come with any Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software

 

You will have to scan the recipes and save them as PDF or JPEG 

The scan needs to be high quality to distinguish 0 from O and I from l

 

A smartphone might be faster than a printer.

 

 

Here are a few free OCR app I found using google.

 

I use Microsoft Word for large files and SnagIt for screen capture.

Word will do spell checks which helps with recognition.
