Few weeks ago there occured a problem which I cannot solve. I cannot scan via HP SMRP application from my computer. I can scan from Microsoft Paint, or directly from the printer, but the original HP SMART application doesn't allow me to scan. I have tried to unistall and again to install the Full Feature Software and Drivers. Could you please give me an advice how to solve it? Thank you very much in advance.

Hello, @TomPet – Hope you are well 🙂

May the Forums be with you!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel!

Going through your post, I see that you are having issues while scanning using the HP Smart App. The HP Smart App was mainly designed for mobile scanning purposes using the Android or iOS devices.

I’d suggest using the HP Smart to scan from your PC. Go to HP Smart to download and install the app on your PC.

HP Scan and Capture is a simple and fun application that captures photos or documents from any HP scanning device or your computer's built-in camera.  These images can be previewed, edited, saved, and shared to other applications. Here are the detailed instructions on how to use the app: http://hp.care/2nZfg1K

Let me know if that helps!

Good luck 🙂

My wife had the same issue. After some comparisons between two identical computers I was able to track it down. She was saving into her downloads folder and her folder had an extensive amount of files in it using a great deal of memory. I simply created a subfolder and moved all of her stuff into it to free up space. Then the HP Smart app was able to save to the original location. The moral of the story is to use a save to location that is relatively empty.
