Cant send a fax. Every time I try my unit goes through the process of calling but I always get a"no answer" on the fax log. I have gone through all of the support options that I am aware of to date and can't fix this. Maybe it is something simple. Can anybody help?
Could be the phone line - ignore this if you are sure that is not the case. That said, phone lines do fail.
If you are willing to do so - and everything else fails, drag the printer to a different location in your house / office and try a different line.
Fax requires a "cleaner" line - voice transmission can travel over some very noisy lines - Fax "not-so-much".
Phone company won't care about that unless you are paying extra for clean data line (it is not part of normal phone service).
