I'd like to help!

I understand you would like to scan from your Envy 5055 to your computer

Please follow the steps to enable scan to computer-

Install the HP Easy Start for Mac from here(under the software utility tab) . Now follow the steps below to enable scan to a computer on your Mac:

Open the HP Utility Folder and go to Scan to Computer

Try Scanning.
