I have an Envy 4502 and need to know how to scan a document into MS word on my desktop.  Currently, I can scan as a photo, or PDF file but now a word file.  Can somebody instruct me?

Welcome to HP support community.

 

You can save the scanned file as editable text using OCR in HP Scan software.
