Hi @CDWythe,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
When setting up faxing on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e, the "header name" refers to the name that will appear on the recipient's fax machine when they receive a fax from you. Here’s how you can set it up in a few simple steps:
1. Access Fax Setup on the Printer
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Fax section.
- Select Setup or Fax Setup Wizard from the options.
2. Enter Your Header Name
- When prompted for the Header Name, enter the name you want to display at the top of each fax you send.
- This could be your name, your company’s name, or any other identifier you'd like the recipients to see.
- Use the printer’s touch keyboard to input the name.
3. Enter Your Fax Number
- After entering the header name, the system will ask for your fax number.
- Input your full fax number, including the country code if required.
4. Review and Confirm Settings
- Review the information you entered to ensure the header name and fax number are correct.
- Confirm and save the settings.
5. Test Your Fax Setup
- Send a test fax to ensure the setup is working properly, and check if your header name and fax number appear correctly on the recipient’s side.
These steps should help you complete the fax setup on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
