Product: HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer

I tried to scan using HP Smart app on my home computer & got the message "could not connect to scanner".  HP Smart cannot scan from this printer.  In HP Smart home page shows my printer across top of screen.  My account says 0 owned printers.  I did a chat & followed all directions up to uninstalling my printer.  Now I cannot re-install.  Can you help me?
