Hi @Richiestar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If the icons for your HP Envy 6032e scanner/printer have disappeared from your PC, there are a few steps you can try to restore them:

Restart your Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.

Check the Desktop:

  • Ensure that the icons are not hidden. Right-click on the desktop, go to "View," and make sure "Show desktop icons" is checked.

HP Printer Software Installation:

  • Make sure that the HP printer software is installed correctly on your PC. You can use the HP Support Assistant to check for driver updates and reinstall software if necessary:

    • Open HP Support Assistant from your Start Menu or by finding the icon in your taskbar.

    • Click on "Updates" to check for any updates or reinstall necessary drivers and software for your printer.

Use HP App:

Create a Shortcut:

  • If the software is installed but the shortcut is missing, you can manually create a shortcut:

    • Go to the directory where the HP software is installed (usually in "C:\Program Files\HP").

    • Find the executable file for the HP software (e.g., "Scan" or "Printer").

    • Right-click on the file and select "Send to" > "Desktop (create shortcut)".

      I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
