Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

this is what i am repeatedly receiving as a message when i try to scan a document. 'the scan could not be completed, make sure the printer is connected to the printer and try again'

the printer is printing documents. my internet connection is good.

could you help me please. i have been able to scan previously.
