Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

macOS 11.0 Big Sur

In an attempt setup network scan to folder I am getting the following error

"Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again"

The printer displays the shared folder on the display but when executing the test of the setup it screen returns that error. 

 

The mac is a standalone and has a wireless connection to the printer 

User has admin rights to the mac

Share for network scan is open read/write 

All firmware is current 

All patches are applied on the mac 

Using the latest driver from HP for the printer 

 

Any suggestions?
