My all in one HP 8610 printer scanner seems to have this repeated problem when I try to scan from the ADF to my email. My emails are in the address book on the printer. I can print from my computer to the printer just fine, but when I try to scan I get an error message saying username or password is incorrect. I don't know why. I've spent a lot of time trying everything and nothing works. I used to have to allow less secure apps on my google acct but they've now disabled that feature, so I'm not sure what to do now. I was able to put a doc on the scan bed and scan it to my computer but I can't seem to scan from the ADF to my email. It's very inconvenient to continue to have this issue and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with a setting somewhere that gets reset when the computer does updates. If there is a setting, I can't find it.

I understand you are not able to use the 'Scan to email' feature on the printer, I am glad to assist you.
Restart web services on the printer
Follow the steps mentioned in this document - Scan to Email Cannot Access Email Accounts
