Hi I was wondering if I was able to get a replacement black ink cartridge because I am having an ink cartridge problem. I have been using the same cartridges for a bit, but my printer is saying that it is not compatible with my printer. I have tried cleaning the cartridge and have turned of my printer, but it is still not working. What should I do?

@Dm00, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Yes, if the cartridge is defective you can get a replacement for the same.
Ensure you have performed all the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge to isolate the issue.
Additionally, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If you still have issues, reach out to the HP Support in your region for assistance.
If the printer is enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program write back and I shall process the replacement.
Hope this helps!
