We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Office jet 9130e installed. All ok except when connecting shared phone line to printer. Results in no dial tone on phone. Former HP Photosmart worked fine with same phone line configuration.

Anyone else experiencing same issue?

I understand there might be an issue with the configuration or setup of the HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e causing the loss of dial tone on the phone line. 

 

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

  • Check connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected to the printer and the phone line. Sometimes a loose connection can cause issues.
  • Verify settings: Check the settings on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e related to fax and phone line configuration. Make sure it's set up correctly to share the phone line without disrupting the dial tone.
  • Update drivers and firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest drivers and firmware installed. Sometimes, outdated software can cause compatibility issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Reset the printer: Try resetting the printer to its default settings. This can sometimes resolve configuration issues.
