I am trying to reinstall the HP Office Jet Pro 7740 application. I accidentally deleted. After going to the downloads page it takes me through a 3 step processes ending with step 3, "activate". Whenever I get to this step there is some registration stuff but then there is no where else to go and when I click the X it says it will close and end the install without finishing. What is going wrong here?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

While the printer installation, check and read the instructions from the software. You will have parts where you may just skip a few things that are not required. You may send us a screenshot of the same for better assistance.

 

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Alternatively, use HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win PC
