Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have an HP Office Jet Pro 6978 and need to scan from chart logic, a system the clinic I work for uses. I was advised that the printer needed to be TWAIN compatable. Is my Printer/Scanner compatable or do I need to download some items such as driver or software?

I suggest you install the Full Feature Software and that should help
