Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. HP ScanJet Professional 1000 Mobile Scanner

We have a couple workstations with new Windows 11 computers and are having troubles with the scanners. THey work fine for a little while, then they get a "Paper Jam" error message out of the blue. All drivers are up to date. All windows updates are up to date. It is not blocked through GPO's or Firewall. Unplug, replug, restart does not fix the issue. The only way to fix it is if I uninstall and reinstall the software. I looked on the website and there is no Windows 11 driver/software for it yet, Please let me know a solution or if it is even compatible yet.

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

The software for the scanners is not supported in Windows 11.

 

The last dated release of the software was 2015

The scanner software supports up to and including Windows 10.
