We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I did a clean install from M.S. and after installing my printer software from disc, I now get error messages constantly saying that:  Scan to computer is no longer available.

Hello again, 

HP Office Pro 8620

I ran the Scan Doctor program and it didn't fix the problem.  Not believing anyone was going to answer me here, I went into the control panel/ programs and features and deleted the program and reinstalled program from the web instead of the disc that came with the printer.  I believe the problem existed in one of the add on's  after the initial program loaded from the disc. 

Anyway, the problem has gone away..

If you like, I might could be a guinea pig and delete the program and load it again as I did after the Clean Install, and when it happens again, we might investigate further.

Good to know that the issue is resolved.

Feel free to contact us in the future if you need nay assistance.

 

If the issue reappears, enable scan to computer option.

Here are the steps:

  1. From the Start menu, open the Scan app. ...
  2. (Optional) To change the settings, click the Show More link. ...
  3. Click the Preview button to make sure your scanappears correct. ...
  4. Click the Scan button.
