Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to enable the twain interface for scanning from my Laserjet 1536dnf to Adobe Acrobat, but the twain interface is grayed out in the scanner settings dialog box.  Any suggestions?

I still haven't been able to find a twain scanner driver for my Laserjet 1536dnf and the HP support website is still down for out of warranty support calls.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks!!
