Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Our HP Office Jet Pro 7740 that we bought Sept. 2022 broke.  They shipped us a replacement  and  when installing the new printer, I can't install the latest software without upgrading my OS.  I can print but it get an error communicating with the scanner.  I'm running Mac OS 10.9.5 (Mavericks) for compatibility with other software and can't upgrade my OS.

Since scanning worked last September, I'm sure that I must have the old driver on a backup, that I could tell the new printer to use, if only I knew what it was called and where it was stored.  I don't need to download it.  Please just tell me the name and location.

If someone could PLEASE tell me what the filename is, I can re-add the printer pointing it to the old software. 

Thanks if you can help me.  Otherwise, it seems that  I can't use scanning on this replacement printer on my Mac.

An agent just had me delete and re-add the printer, which sounds like it would have gotten the same result.  But somehow, it fixed the problem.  I can now scan and print to the All in One Printer.
