What cable is required to send and receive fax?  Also has anyone got one to work on Spectrum Cable System?

You need a phone cord with connectors that have two wire leads, not four as mentioned on the following article:

I don't know where uou can buy in your country BUT please ask your local communication stores and shows them this article. They can even make one for you. You can even make a right cord yourself

 

(a) Buy normal telephone cord,

(c) Cut 2 wires, keep 2 wires shown on the article
