I could not scan with the printer.  I was using wireless.  The CC4 said the printer was not connected.  Tried many times but no luck.  Then I unloaded Kaspersky and everything works. Apparently Kaspersky blocks the firewall.  I now use Norton without a problem

Hi,

If Kaspersky blocks the application program, you would need to configure your security program to allow the exception.

You may follow the below steps to allow the scanning software if you would like to reinstall and use Kaspersky

https://support.kaspersky.com/11444

You may also need to create a rule for the Firewall not to block any network connection with your scanner:

https://support.kaspersky.com/13630#block3
