Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

My brand new (OK, "refurbished") unit started exhibiting the samee problem after a week of service, with little use of the scanner. Everything is very clean, so no need to disassemble and clean the glass. Is there a setting to determine where the scanner begins when using the flatbed versus the doc feeder?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

Do you face the same issue when making Photocopies?

Let's start with a printer reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed

Then update the Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m477-series/7326560

Follow these steps when text or images are not centered or aligned correctly on the printed page when printing from specific trays.

1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe until the Setup menu displays. Touch the Setup icon to open the menu.

2. Open the following menus: ● System Setup ● Print Quality ● Adjust Alignment

3. Select Adjust Alignment and print a Test Page

4. Select the tray to adjust, and then follow the instructions on the printed pages.

5. Select Print Test Page again to verify the results, and then make further adjustments if necessary.

6. Touch the OK button to save the new settings.

Let me know how it goes
