We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

I have this printer connected to our network. We use the Universal Print Driver as there doesn't appear to be a model-specific driver.

 

This driver is causing some weird issues:

  • When printing, some excel documents will print but others won't
  •  Not able to print multiple copies of the same document - it will only print one at a time

The reason I believe it is a driver issue is that we had the same problem on a HP MFP 4101fdn using the Universal Print Driver. When I changed the driver to the model-specific driver, the problems went away. There appears to me no model-specific driver in the downloads section for this printer, only the Universal Print Driver v7.1.0.25570.

 

Can anybody shed light on this or is there a model-specific driver that I can use? Or has anybody got a fix for these weird issues.

But first clean the system from old drivers and software.

I suggest you try the Smart Universal Printer Driver which is better suited to Windows 11 applications.
