Recently I have noticed that it takes 15-30 min or more to get a scan to email pushed through. It used to work without any issue and right away but I suspect that after upgrading to the 20220414 firmware this problem popped up.

 

I tried it out with Outlook and Office356 accounts. Both with accounts with 2 step verification activated/disabled. I did a full default reset of the printer. I connected the printer to two different networks... but no difference.

 

The basic printer/scanning functionality is working BTW. I can also use HPSmart on an Android or Windows 11 system to scan etc. I suspect that this somehow has to be linked to the SMTP settings (in combi with the firmware)... Has somebody encountered the same issue?

 

Is there a way to downgrade to one of the previous firmware versions?

Quick update -

 

Downgraded to different Laserjet 2020 and 2019 firmwares but hit the same issue.

After further investigation the Netgear Orbi (AP/router) firmware was causing the issue (RBR50 Firmware Version 2.7.4.24).

The problem disappeared after downgrading the Orbi to a previous firmware version.
