Hi Marco,

I've just downloaded and installed the following:

 

HP Easy Start 9.1 MB

HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

This was dated in September as well and "seems" to have solved the problem. I can now scan to my network drive at 150dpi.

 

I trust that this will be a final resolution to this problem.

Hi Chris,

 

thanks for info.  You mean you can solve the problem by using the latest Easy Start driver without need to upgrade the firmware at 10.13 High Sierra environment?

Yes - that's all I did.

I'm now looking at upgrading to Mojave 10.14 and see what that does......

I had the same problem with my new MFP M477fdw, and it was resolved by downloading and installing the January 2019 firmware update from the HP website.
