Could you please clarify your intention?

 

The printer is provided with a top Document Feeder for up to 35 pages, and a Flatbed Glass for a single page scanning only, not for multiple pages, according to your description it does scan multiple pages from the feeder option...

HP Recommended

The scanner is working, but not via HP Smart.  When HPSmart is opened, it does not recognize the printer scanner.  I've reconnected the modem and rebooted the printer and the computer, I've run the network report and the scanner network summary suggests everything is in order and HP Smart still doesn't recognize the printer.
