I am trying to send a fax using the HP Smart software on my Windows 11 laptop.  I have also tried using the Android HP Smart  app.  Neither work.  I get a message, 'it seems that an error has occurred before the sending process.  Please try to send your fax again'.  I am trying to send a fax to a number in the UK with area code 0844, so the application is appending +44 to the front of the number resulting in +440844nnnnnnn.  I don't believe it should be including the leading zero, but the app adds it even if I try to just enter 844 etc.  I can't believe it can be this fundamental otherwise it wouldn't work for anybody.  Is the problem that it is some kind of premium number?
