I have a ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer series that I purchased in Dec 2025. Why does most of my mobile faxing fail or only sends  1-2 pages at a time then fails regardless of where it’s going? It can take days of trying before I can get a couple pages (not files) to be delivered.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with mobile faxing on your HP ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer, where faxes only send 1-2 pages at a time or fail frequently, I would request you to please follow the steps:

 

Send Smaller Batches

  • Try sending 1–2 pages at a time instead of large multi-page faxes.
  • If successful, combine batches until the full document is sent.

Restart Printer and App

  • Power cycle your printer and restart the HP Smart app to clear temporary glitches.

Verify Recipient Fax

  • Confirm the recipient’s fax line is active and able to accept digital/mobile faxes.
  • Some older fax machines may reject cloud-based transmissions.

Check HP Fax Service Status

  • Occasionally, HP’s mobile fax service experiences downtime.
  • Visit HP’s support page or forums to confirm if there’s a service outage.

Update HP Smart App

  • Make sure you’re running the latest version of the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
